A conversation with a friend from 05 January 2024.

“…It was really beautiful. I mostly did post production work. But it has been inspiring. In the work, but also in the everyday life.
The mother of the director I am working with remembered that I loved persimmons. So she stocked up a box for me. And the biggest avocados I have ever seen. And I found it so moving, that I can return to a place, where people remember what I want. And the thought of my return, means for them, bringing those things into their home.
Once, we were going for a walk next to a river, and on the other side of the river, we heard someone playing the saxophone. this song “Besame Mucho” and I felt so moved… I told the director that it felt like we were in a film. And she said, that if we were in a scene from a film, she’s wondering how we get the rights to this famous song.
I will share with you the photo. I have started photographing and writing again. As if, I never lost it– this desire to make and create. This thing that I had told you that I am afraid I had lost— Maybe, had always been here.”
